    Retro?

I was wondering if I should get a retro vaulve on my minimag. I was also wondering if it is worth the 200 clams.

    thanks

Just to give you an idea..

The intelliframe/retro combination is said to be the best mechanical trigger out there. A guy butterfingers has secretly "tuned" his retro/intelli and it shot about 21 bps.. about 18 with paint I guess. NON ELECTRO! So..to answer your question.. yes, if you don't wanna lay that much paint.. stick with the standard A.I.R. valve you have. That valve will shoot 13 bps before shootdown.

Or, you could sell your mag, (if upgraded enough) for around 300 and then use the extra 200 for the Rt Pro... bang!!!! then you have the best reactive trigger their is...

Why is the RT Pro better than a Minimag w/ retro?

The Rt-Pro is made for the Rt valve, and the reactivness is alot better because of that, while the retro valve is installed in ones gun, therefore factors affect its performance (reactivness). I am in no way saying that the retro is not a good upgrade, I am saying that in my eyes the rt pro is more reactive than the retro...

when you shoot an rt pro and a retro valved mag, you will feel the differences in reactivness between them...

and if I spelled ... reactivness wrong, Im sorry for saying it so much

Are you basing this on 'feelings' or on data though?

I thought that the Rt Pro Valve was basically the same setup as the retro and could go into any classic body. Also why would it be any different if you already have a classic mag with an inteli and retro cause the new RT Pros have intelis on them so the trigger pull would be the same as long as the output pressure was the same.

With an intelliframe and retro valve combo, it will shoot exactly the same as an RT pro, I've shot both, and own a retro/LX mag with intelli, there's no difference.

And yes, you should definately go for it. I love the trigger on it, and you will too.

THe Retro valve is the single best upgrade you can get for your Mag. It's the sort of thing that once you get it you'll wonder how you ever lived without it.
