    Anyone have a dye ultralight?

I'm just trying to find out if the DYE ultralight is a 1 stage barrel (meaning it's 1 piece, same ID/bore size the whole way through)? Thanks for your help.

Few barrels these days change bore (intentionally ) through the length of the barrel. BOA, CCI, and I believe J&J have made them before, but as far as I know DYE will be one bore size the whole way through.

Dye ultralite is definitely a 2 piece barrel.

All the barrels DYE produces now (Except the all SS) are two piece barrels where the back part is the control bore and the front aluminum piece is for cosmetics and sound control.

Dude a dye ultralight is a one stage bore barrel. Its only one piece of solid milled aluminum.

Dyes other barrels like the boomstick and the titanium are two stage barrels because they indeed do have two parts to them.

Ok, for you disbalievers. The color's messed up but i putzed around with it to show you the step in the barrel. You can tell from the different colors and you can see the step itself.

                  Ragu is Right

ALL DYE barrels are 2 piece barrels except the DYE Stainless and the DYE aluminum. The Stainless and the Aluminum are obviously one piece as there are no seams, just one smooth piece all the way through.

Some ppl may mistaken the Ultralite for the Amuminum and vice versa since both are black. Just remember, the Ultralite will say Ultralite and Aluminum will say aluminum.

                  Hope this helped.

All the newer DYE barrels that are coming out are two piece. The DYE barrels of last year and the year past are all one piece.

Remember DYE used to be hardcore two piece barrels suck. Untill they realized they were missing out on a TON of money. So now all their barreles are two piece. You can also buy different backs for them.

the old boomies and such were still 2 piece, they were just glued together and you couldnt take em apart thats all, they were still step bore barrels, all of the ultralights were step bores, same with moomies and Ti boomies
