CPX - full facilities heated proshop running water the whole deal

$10 a head

$1 dollar drinks

Free compressed air

Free CO2 fills

Paint $80 - $100 per case


Country Club Paintball- indoor heated facility with locker rooms, shower and jacuzzi

$15 a head

$2 a drink

$2 per PSI on compressed air

$2 - $6 per CO2 fill

Paint $105 per case


Badlandz - nothing no running water one porta-potty no electricity

$25 a head

$2-$3 per drink

Free compressed air

Free CO2

Paint bring your own or 75$ per case


hell if you felt so bad about paying the prices for paint that you did put it on your taxes as a deduction... a penny per round sold went to the charities Schatner supported.

So you paid alot of money and you didn't feel you got your moneys worth, well then complain to the company that put it on SPPLAT and Brass Eagle... Boycott them... refuse to ever play a game there again. Does that give you the right to trash up the place? No it doesn't. This thread isn't about how much you paid or whether or not you thought you deserved more, it's about being a slob, and a pig. If that's the type of image you wish to put forth on your own name and the name of AGD then so be it.

The point WAS to be kinder gentler paintballers. Just take it as I ment it. Clean up after yourselves... make places want to work hard to have us back. By the time we left.. things WERE clean... things WERE looking good. The point was... don't leave it a mess.

It was you guys who brought up that the mess was some kind of revenge. But that's like a cat pooping on the carpet to say it was upset. it just gets the cat into troubble.

Yes there should be a "complain about cpx" thread. And this isn't the place to complain about the facilitys. Take the criticism in stride and improve yourselves. Nuff said.

hehe...well I truely had hoped early on we could maturely approach the subject of trash at paintball fields and that sort of thing and had hoped to spring board this thread into a whole general discussion on what I see as a tendency of Paintballers to be messy...but that thought sure backfired on me!

I can see where two threads on each seperate subject would have been better but hey! I not a dictator! Stuff happens!!!

Thank the rest of the people that posted here for pointing out to me what I guess should be obvious: How trashy you make the field doesn't really matter.

I concede my account on this board and will no longer associate myself with AO as a group if this is the way they are going to be at events. I'm sure I am no big loss and I won't miss you all either.

All I wanted from this thread was "You're right, we'll do better next time" That's it. Not a defence of why you left a mess. I know leaving a mess is "normal" But we're not "normal" I tend to hold AOers in higher regard than "normal" paintball players.

Even if you're not.. fake it. Make us proud to fly the AO banner.

Hold on just a minute now!!! No need for that! lets just take a day or two and cool off on this one. I know some were rationalizing this by what they felt were things misshandled with the event but I would not say "most" were. Seems like the two issues got discussed together in spite of my hopes they would be seperate issues. But realy I think your concluding this all wrong. I realy wish you would re-read this whole thing and try and seperate the two subjects here. I agree one may tend to see them together. I do not think many of them ment it to be that way. I think most everyone seemed to agree that trash was a problem and not defensable except for the lack of facilities they experienced. And then they saw this as an opportunity to vent about the other stuff. I do not think many of them ment it to seem like an excuse. Just an opportunity to bring some things up is all.

Lets step back and think about this a bit OK? And lets end this with a comment.

Clean up after yourselves where ever you go and represent AO well. Don't like the way you were treated at the field then do not come back. And tell everyone why. But lets still maintain our manners. We can be bigger than they are.

So I am gonna close this now and lets go ahead and do what should have been done in the first place. Start another on the things you feel were wrong with the way the event went on.
