inserts

putting together a freak system what would be the best 3 inserts to have? thinking to start with a .689(medium)? 2 others to have???? thanks for all replys...

By the time you buy those three inserts, the front, and teh back you could have bought a whole kit for not much more.
What paint do you shoot?
I would go for the .689 right off. Then I would consider what type of paint I usually shot, if its a smaller paint like diablo then get smaller ones. If its a larger paint, then maybie a .690, or even a .691. If you shoot a variety, then one small, .689, and another small, or a larger one.

Acutally if you could just get smaller ones, and if you need to shoot somthing bigger than .689 use your stock barrel (.691) untill you get more inserts.

i just got a freak (tip,back,insert) and i started out with the 289. Just because thats the bore of paint that i usualy get. It all depends on what you shoot

was thinking the same on money spending on 3 inserts, so bought a kit, paint size wont matter now..
