    the ssn blank on the release form for shatnerball

    i am just wondering what everyone filled in the social security number field with on the release forms for shatnerball.

    i filled mine in with "YOU DO NOT NEED TO KNOW THIS INFORMATION"

    the guy next to me claimed to be an illegal imigrant

    i am just wondering if anyone else put anything witty in the field?
    As society and the problems that face it become more and more complex and machines become more and more intelligent, people will let machines make more of their decisions for them, simply because machine-made decisions will bring better results than man-made ones. Eventually a stage may be reached at which the decisions necessary to keep the system running will be so complex that human beings will be incapable of making them intelligently. At that stage the machines will be in effective control. People won't be able to just turn the machines off, because they will be so dependent on them that turning them off would amount to suicide

    sometimes I just freaking hate people. which means the next day I will love them for the sake of balance, but right now I will just concentrate on the hating. Hate hate hate. Blaaaarg! ;)

      theats just what you want, brass eagle running arround knowing your social security number.....i would have put 000-00-0001 or what ever the format is. I dont even know mine by heart.... i guess i should.

      Why would a field need your SSN anyways? or was it for the movie possibly? i dunno.

      I just tihnk it is stupid to enter that information on a form that many will see.

            In general...

            You never have to tell anyone your social security number, except in limitted cases associated with employment and some other exceptions (like university ID/enrollment systems from prior to 1974 or something.)

                  Call your credit card company, chances are the only things they'll verify are your ssn, or dob.

                  So if someone gets your credit card and ssn (like if your d/l has your ssn on it) they can do anything they want (change addresses, have new cards issued, etc).
