Which reg is better? Crossfire or PMI.

And don't say flatline! I know its better but it's not available in the configuration I want yet.

I'm looking at either the 45/45 Crossfire or the 45/45 PMI. Anyone know which has a faster recharge rate? The PMI has a 5 year Hydro, so that's a plus. Any help would be appreciated.

From what I know from using both types and owning a Crossfire. The Crossfire has the best re charge rate out of the most of the more reasonable tanks and better than some of the high end tanks. Also The last setup I bought from Crossfire had the Carleton tank with five year hydro.

I prefer Crossfire, and the new ones DO have 5 year hydro.

system x, fastest recharging tank in the world and its a screw in tank like pmi or crossfire. if u HAD to choose between the 2, i have no clue they are both the exact same from what ive shotten. nobody can really outshoot the regs anyways. just go with whichever one is cheaper.

Crossfire, best customer service ever, i dropped reg on ground, it leaked, sent to them, repalced reg tip with new highflow reg for free, got it back ten days later.

*EDIT* forgot to mention it was free, didn't cost me anything except to ship it to them. They didn't even question how on EARTH i dented the reg like I did, etc. No warranty info requested, nothing, no calls, no emails, just a working crossfire reg returned. So buy from them if you're in the market for a screw-in preset. Period.

The System X has just a ANS GenX II regulator, which is about average in consistancy and flow. Crossfire's new reg is the best in both of those categories, and it comes at a great price.

...the last time i ever heard of anyone out shooting their tank reg was my old bulldog before i got the upgrade for it and i was shooting an AT85 on full auto...
since i got the upgrade i haven't had a problem.

basically if you're buying a new tank i really don't think you ever have to worry about recharge rates...
and if you only have a semi-auto, i dont think you ever really needed to worry anyway

For a flatline I also want the reg in black, pewter looks ok, but for that much I want exactly what I want and no less. I talked to pbgear this morning and they said those tanks are way back ordered. They had some in July I know tho.
