It works exceptionaly better. Now i don't get balls jammed under my paddles. I would definetly invest in one of these the stock ones in my experience are crap.

when you combine it with the x-board you get a very good upgrade. Not quite a Halo-B but also not $130.

Thats the best part to, all you need is a vortex impeller and an x board and you got yourself a nice feed system. My little brother wanted a halo B but I convinced him to upgrade his 9v with a x board and a vortex impeller and he did and he loves it.

I like mine, mostly because its green. I cant really tell if its that much of a preformance upgrade becase I cant shoot that fast, but it seems like a great concept.

Also it helps empty the hopper out better when you're running low. And it kinda scoops up the balls so you can hold your marker at more of an angle without feeding problems

Vortex impeller = eVil impeller. eVil impellers can be found at www.dropzonepaintball.com. I find their service and shipping times first rate.

Paintballgear.com just sent out a newsletter, and it looks like warped-sports hacked up a buncha VL hoppers and Made their own.

Included are X-boards, and IMpellers. They're 2 tone, and have a cool "Dark" logo on the lid, which is made of a differant, snugger-fitting material.

                            Check it out!

no you don't need the x-board to intell-feed a revvy. the x-board speeds up the response time between the sensor and the time the impeller spins. i think it also makes your batteries last longer
