Does firing a Mag on N2 sound different than on CO2?

My Mag sounds almost like a real gun (way more quiet), and I think its wierd, cuz all those Cockers and SPydeer just go thwip thwip I've only used CO2 on it!

Oh yea, any of u ppl got a DF that goes downward 3 inches?, foward 3-3.5 in?
lookin fer IR3 or Xtreme (C&C)

I never noticed much difference in the sound my mag makes on co2 vs. nitro. However, As far as your gun sounding loud, what type of barrel are you using? that will make the biggest difference. Additionally, I used to think that my guns always sounded louder than other people's on the field, until I let someone play a game w/ my mag and I just stood on the sidelines. I couldn't believe how quiet it was! - - - Just remember, your gun will sound louder just because youre right behind it. From across the field, I think mags are pretty quiet, depending on what type of barrel they have.

I dont have a drop forward that fits your description, but im sure someone here does.
