Help with Feed Neck Size On Micro-E

I have a Pro-Team Micro E-Mag, and the feedneck size is gaping big. Any 12v Revy can pretty much spin freely like a helicopter blade. The New Ricochet shells with Orings help, but dont have that solid an attachment as I would want. It stays in there but feels like it would come out after a hard dive.

PPl here locally say to just stick or wrap some paper around the neck and shove it in real tight. Alot tell me to use a cigarette wrappers (what kinda ghetto crap is that?!?)

Any other Micro E users out ther that can give me advice? Is there something I can do to swap the feed. I like the works type feed since you can adjust the tension, but looks unrealistic. I know that an Evil Smoke stack will fit in the Mag feedneck and the new feed that will take the hopper will be a bit tighter, but Im not a fan over high rises.

I have also been wondering if the feedneck can be safely and carefully crushed to have a tighter fit. A vice of something to crush the exterior while not scratching the surface.

    LMK All.

Any help would be much appreciated.

I would try spacers or even electrical tape before resulting to this method ...

They fellow that owned mine before me drilled a hole in each side and tapped it for some thumb screws. I would have spaced it...and a non sanded fresh Halo B neck fits it tight.

          HyperSnyper,

I got a vert feed Micro RT, so I feel your pain, But I found a not perfect but VERY good solution for you. I just found it last week. I am at work so I don't have all the info handy right now. But someone (can't remember who) makes a sleeve that slides down over the top of your vert feed, and is held in place with 4 set screws. Problem with it it will scrach the vert feed underneeth it, but it is great becuase it has a couple of big thick O-rings in the sleeve that hold hoppers VERY nicely and snug, yet they can get taken in and out easily as well. The sleeve is alum, and can be anno'd what you want, comes in flat black or chrome. The milling on it maches Micro's well. It wasn't cheep like $30 bucks or something but it was the right fix at the right time for me. I can probablly get the manufactuers info from the shop, and if you seriously want I could maybe snap a few pics of it when I get home tonite or tomorrow.

          Hope that helps...

I have a verticle feed e-mag and have the same problem. My resolution was wrapping one layer of electrical tape around the neck of the revvy. Crisis averted...

I agree with Cliffio, a hopper spacer is the fix. Just place it inside of your hopper neck...that should do the trick!

My Halo B fits nice and snug in my Micro emag. When I use my revy I notice it being loose. I use scotch tape around the revy. This makes for a nice adjustable fit to the marker.
