Sorry it took a week to get this up, I've been busy. We went down to West Point last weekend for the big game and boy was it great.
We started the day trying to hold a hill. We were in a sandbagged bunker that was built by the 101st Airborne during their summer training. The unbelievable part was there was a cadet on the roof firing a REAL M240 machinegun (blanks of course).
The cadets had 3 M240's and 3 m16's firing blanks all day. They used 10,000 rounds of blanks and boy was that neet. Watching the fire belch from the muzzle was well worth the $10 early registration fee. every so often they would light off a concussion grenade in a hole in the ground. NOISE, NOISE, NOISE .

And I'd like to say the cadets are the finest bunch of men and women you'll ever meet. I enjoyed taking by 13 yr old son and his best friend to West Point so they can see what true manners and integrety are. These guys run a great show and are always in control, but not opressive.
