Got a brand spakin' new Warp, but...

(First I'd like to thank Modified Paintball for quickly correting their mistake and then sending it priority mail with no extra charge...)

(there is a short version for people that don't want to read the story)

Second, I got my Warp installed and everything. Works great, except when I try and do something stupid like shoot it on it's side (different story, works now).

Just one minor problem - Upon completing installation, I noticed the 9v battery receiver was just hanging there, sad and lonely. I figured there was a reason there was nothing there to stop it, so I crammed a 9v in there and went to town on the porch (live in the country. Lots of convienent trees to test things on). Well, as it turns out, that 9v battery is not supposed to hang there, I think, because it seems like there is a place where a battery slide door is supposed to be.

Short version - I think I'm supposed to have a battery door on the Warp Feed, although it didn't come with one. What now?
So you've got an E-Mag, Warpfeed, LX, and a complete set of barrels. You can shoot a steady 13 bps and bunker me like it's no problem...

But do you know where your towel is?

heres what i did with my revvy that didnt have a door.

if you have a spare cd case take a modeling knife to it and cut it into as close to the shape and size of the door as possible then slide it in and duct tape over it.

I will NEVER make a replacement part for a NEW product. Sorry.

Call them up... period. I am sure they will fix the problem. If you pay for a new product, it should WORK, and at a minimum have all its parts... and that includes a battery door.

slap some duct tape over the battery compartment until they send you the actual door

Do'h... Looks like I owe Modified Paintball a bit of an apology.

My nephew was rummaging around downstairs for something or other (and apparently in the general area where I opened the box of the Warp Feed) and he came upstairs and handed me, yes, you guessed it - the battery compartment door.

So, in my haste to find out how to correct this problem, instead of doing what I should've done first, I now have done a small part of forum clogging... and feel like a complete fool.
