How do I charge My Emag in my house?

Has any one figured out how to charge their mag battery at home. (I'm probably the only person that doesn't know) I'd like to charge the battery in my house and not my car. Is there a way to hook an AC/DC converter to the charger base instead of the lighter adapter? And what specs does it need to be? (charger says 10-15 vdc input)

    Here you go....

Paintball Talk is the main forum for Automags.org. Here is where we talk about the sport of paintball in general and make announcements relating to the forum and website.

And how did I find this? I used the words "charge e-mag".

Go to Walmart and buy a universal charger with different adapter plugs and find the one that fits the plastic peice that goes on top of the battery.

Yes, it does. Read the thread I posted in my first response in this thread.

I seem to be having a problem myself. I was runnning the setup down there. It's 12v dc adapter at 1000ma. I charge it for an hour and the green light will come on. Charge it for one more hour and then it should be done, right? I go to use it and it'll last about 1000 shots and die. Does that mean the battery's dead or am i doing something wrong or what? Someone help me out.

You will have the best results if you kill the battery, then charge it OVERNIGHT. 18 hrs seems to do it for me.

Get yourself a multimeter. Check the voltage of the battery after it's been charged. If it doesn't read 18-19V, it's not charging for long enough.

Is it safe to just leave the charger on all night long even though the battery isnt completely dead?

Im not an electrical engineer, but what exactly are the negative effects of over charging?

You can kill the pack if you leave it on for too long. I don't recommend charging it for more than 6 hours.

step 1: Drive car or truck through front door, into house.

                              step 2: plug in charger

                              step 3: plug in gun
