Do you have to get the kapp adapter with the dropzone for a screw in, or can you use other adapters? I have a 32 degrees on/off adapter and it's round with a flat top for dovetail, would that fit in the kapp loop?

anything that fits in a raptor style cradle should work.
for you youngins, the raptor was one of air americas first systems.its internal seals are interchangable with A.I.R seals if i am correct. the drop zone is a descendant of the raptor drop forward cradle.
if the adapter you are talking about has a dovetail and is round its probably set for a raptor, or apocalypse style cradle. -
I know the internal measurementof the KAPP Drop Zone II is 1.875 inches. (1 7/8") I believe they also make a dovetail DropZone II that would work perfect for what you want. goodluck
