Need help with project shopping list

I'm working on a project and need to know where i could find solid blocks of clear pvc or plexiglass, only has to be like 1/2 to an inch thick.

    Any info would be appreciated

I don't know about "blocks" but I know Home-Deopt sells acrylic sheets up to 3/4" The stuff I usually buy is called Lucite. Stays clear, and its nice and strong, but be careful when drilling it with larger bits, it has a tendency to crack then.

and if you get the thinner stuff for some reason cut it on a band saw.

dont use the knife they will tell you to buy.

it does not work and you will break it trying.

also it will crack if you arent careful
