Some have claimed that it did some good. Most have claimed thatit screwed up their performance or did absolutely nothing but suck $35 out of their wallet. I'd stay away and sock that money away for a retro-valve later.Comment

I had one and all it did was fall out of my gun anytime I removed the A.I.R. Don't get it - it's a waste of money.

if you wanna spend 35 bucks on a nice little upgrade for your classic get a galactic z on/off. That actually works to reduce the pressure it takes to pull your trigger but keep the return pressure the same.Comment

retro valve=200-300 dollars, does a lot
galactic z valve=35 dollars, does a bit but makes a big difference (to me) and especially for the cash
so blah!

I also had one in an AIR valve I got used. The top fell out literaly every time I took the valve out. Even if I was being careful.Originally posted by MagDog68

As far as improved performance...I didn't see any.My second Mag shot just the same but didn't have the "falling out" problem.
Basicly, I wouldn't buy one but unless it's giving you problems I'd just leave it in."Relax. Don't worry. Have a Home Brew."

Yup, falls out everytime you take off your valve. First time i put it on my minimag, the gun wouldn't work well. took it off until one day i lost my stock valve so i put on the reactor valve. It's still in there. The mag works fine now.
The only difference is that the trigger feels a little softer than with the stock valve- no other benefit i can see.
bottom line - it's not worth the money to buy one.Comment
