AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
hey all... i just got a used 68 3000 flatline and i want to replace the gauges on there... now is there anything special i should know about this before i start messin with it. any comments are appreciated
When putting on the new gauges, I'd use loc-tite instead of teflon tape. I like teflon tape for most conections but for a tank I'd take the safer route and use loc-tite.

You'd probably be OK with the blue but if you want to be really safe go for the red. You can get loc-tite are almost any hardware store. It's a pretty common product.

I would use the blue(medium) loctite.......it holds very well, but it is removable with just tools. if you use red and hte gauge breaks, you will have th eheat the joint to get it off........that means you have to take the whole reg apart.
