    N2 Tanks...pointers anyone?

    hey guys,
I am looking to buy an N2 tank for my automag. I been told very highly of the AGD Flatlines and Air America tanks, except, i dont have the money to spend on those yet. So i have heard of few opinions on the crossfire tanks and bulldogs...does anyone have a preference over either of the two?

Also, i have already used Co2 on my mag, do i nead to replace anything in order to run N2 on it? such as hoses fittings and/or anything having to do with the valve?

Finally, does anyone have any recommendations on a good drop forward, that will give my gun a nice balance with a 68 ci N2 tank...thanks a lot guys

I've got a Crossfire 68/4500 and I'm liking it. Just remember if you get a fiber tank, be sure to get a tank cover. I've got a gash in my cover that could've meant the end of my tank, and possibly a nice part of my arm... (Tiny little gash, but whatever did it could've scratched the tank pretty well...)

You don't have to replace anything on your gun to use HPA, my nephew uses CO2 on his Mag and I've got nitro, and whenever I use (take) his gun, my tank works just fine.

As far as a drop goes, I can't recommend anything, because I don't really use drops, but my nephew has a massive TKO Drop on his and it balances fairly well with my tank, except the thing is about 3x as tall as it is long...

(Interesting side note - since my nephew runs CO2, but originally didn't plan to, he bought a remote AFTER he bought the drop, so he's got a huge dropforward on his gun, but he runs it on remote anyway. It gets some strange looks and strange comments, alrighty...)
So you've got an E-Mag, Warpfeed, LX, and a complete set of barrels. You can shoot a steady 13 bps and bunker me like it's no problem...

But do you know where your towel is?

lets see il suggest a Pure Energy tank for starters... good cheap tanks.. get a 68cu fiber wraped 3000PSI and get a tank cover... i use a TKO drop with my mag, ( classic mag, 68CI,3k PSI nitro duck) and it balences awsome.

yeah dont get steel only if you have too. I had a stubby 68/30 it weighed a ton i traded it for a nitro duck 114 it needs to be hydrotested but it is carbon fiber and it is big for those ten man games i also have a 68/45 warped sportz tank hydro is 6/02 and it needs to be hydroed in 5 years sweeeeeet. my field only fills 3000psi but they dont care if tanks need to be hydroed

Crossfire tank works great. PMI should be good as well. You don't have to replace a thing. Just screw it in and you are good to go. I have the fiber wrapped. Don't listen to anyone who says not to worry about hydro testing. I don't like anything exploding next to my body!

I'm using a crossfire but I'm going to get an adjustable screw in nitroduck soon. I use a 5" NW drop.

I use a PMI perfect drop on my Mag. Just because its a long drop and it fits where I want it to. As for a tank I use to use a PMI 48/3000 Steel. Was pretty heavy. Then I got a 68/3000 Crossfire. Heavy still. Now a 90/4500 Nitro Duck Tough Skin. Its heavy but its big so it doesn't really matter. But yeah I wouldn't go with Steel. If anything though I suggest you save up and get a good tank. Yeah it's hard and you proably don't want to wait but if I think about it. I have wasted my money on so much stuff I didn't need. I would rather have good things than things I don't need. But if you want to get one now go with a PMI.

Hey Shirow.....let us know how that adjustable screw in works when you get it. Maybe that would be something I'd be interested in....
