Tiny camera for paintball?

I've been looking over the internet for little video cameras to have on me when im playing paintball (like a helment cam).

Does anyone know about this or have any ideas? I dont care how crummy it is (probably better because it would be cheap) as long as its small

I don't think it would work, because what would the little camera record too? You could look around at MotoCross sites, they always hav those little cameras on there masks.

Yep I saw those but those need some kind of recording unit somewhere else. I was hoping something magical would come along that has built in memory for some short video.

I dont know if there is anything like this, but maby you could find something that would let you record to a flash card or something like that??
I dont know, I think there was a thread on this a while back..
Or you could do it the moose way and run around getting lit up while you take pictures with a disposible camera

lol Im seriously considering having a disposable camera with me but I WANT VIDEO SO BADLY

I found this cool little thing though



Its a little under 2 x 2 inches!! And it does short clips by taking pictures fast (probably pretty slowly and badly, but im almost expecting nothing, but its actually 640x480!)

its also under 40$!! and I can bring my laptop to dump the video on so I can make another

but I dont think it will take paintball hits well... probably blow up into a million pieces

those are TERRIBLE for videos
im not sure the rate they take them at but it's just like a slideshow, im not sure if they even record at over 2 fps

those moto cross cams are great but they are 250$
but I watched some clips and they are GREAT quality... I wish I had one so badly

you will need a recording unit somewhere. Either a camcorder on you. (on your back for instance) or a wireless transmitter to a vcr on the side of the field. Ranges go to 1000 feet, but you need a certain permit and radio license to run the high range setups. under 250 feet you should be good to go

A fellow I played with this summer had one mounted to his Tippy A-5 with a remote wire to the recording device on his belt. It was simply too cool; like watching a real life FPS. He showed me footage of one hyperball game that was great quality. I'll pm you his email so you can drop him a line and find out what equipment he uses.

Yes the recording unit was a problem too, which is why that small digital camera caught me cause it was so tiny and self contained, but guaranteed crappy quality.

here's an idea, wear a backpack, strap a camcorder to your shoulder strap, turn it on, PLAY BALL!
