Why do people cut their trigger guards??

    I dont understand..
The only reason I can think of is beause they want a double trigger on a single trigger frame.
    Someone fill me in?
Most fields wont let you play without one, so why bother?

i cut the guard on my standard mag to put a 2x trigger on it.
In tournies i'd just rig up a temp guard to be legal, i shoot a emag now so i dont have to worry about it.

I dunno, I played with a cut trigger guard and I couldn't stand it. I like to rest my finger on the guard when I'm not shooting.

i could see using it on my mag but my autococker? all it does is take up space and goes right on the front grip making it so i cannot hold the front grip right and when i hold a gun and not plan on shooting it i know not to have my hands on the trigger.

i havent cut the guard off any of my guns and dont plan on it but with some guns its moreof a hastle then a safeguard

They do it (some of them) so they can get three fingers on the trigger. I just actually learned this last weekend...using 3 fingers allows you to "drum" the trigger...kinda like when you're waiting impatiently on someone

For some a trigger guard is a sign of oppression, they do it as a sign of paintball freedom and they show the Man won't bring them down without a fight. Kinda like ripping a tag off a mattress.

No really, I DON'T have a clue what I'm talking about.
