    A few general questions..

ok, if i have a tank preset at 800psi, and i get a regulator, can i turn the psi down to say 450 with the regulator, or is that not the purpose of the regulator... what would be my input pressure if i get an lp reg with 800 psi preset tank?

yes, the point of a regulater is to rgulate the input pressure to a lower pressure(usally 200 psi or lower from the input pressure)you can ajust the reg to change your input pressure to whatever you need.

how low do you want to go? i think the vigilante comes with ethier a high pressure spring or a low pressure spring

-edit-they come stock with the high pressure spring but you can buy the aftermarket low pressure spring direct from air america.

          their web page is www.airamerica.com
also the high pressure spring is for outputs from 450psi to 850psi and the low pressure spring is for outputs from 50psi to 450psi.

yep. the only thing to remember is that a preset tank cant be "beefed up" to get 900psi downsystem. thats the advantage of an adjustale tank. you can beef up the pressure

yes, you should easily get the pressure down to 250psi with the low pressure spring

the cap on the bottom cap unscrews and there is an ajustment nut underneath it. you would use a 3/16 allen wrench to ajust it
