    Upgrades to my MAG...

Hello, I have been reading all about the various upgrades you guys suggest and it is very helpful.

    Here are my gun specs:

AutoMAG classic with Shocktech 8 hole valve, Palmer stabilizer feeding the valve, ANS venturi bolt NO FOAMIE and have NEVER CHOPPED A BALL, upgraded on/off, forgot who made it. Double trigger on stock AGD frame. I am now using nitro, was using CO2 hence the Palmer, but it works great with nitro too.

My main complaint now is the trigger pull. I was told the on/off would lighten the pull, it didn't really.

The only questions I have that haven't been answered here are these:

    1. Is there any trigger work I can do myself to the stock trigger to make it lighter or better, or does buying the itellifeed fix this?

    2. Are the boo-yas and centerflag frames worth it?

I know this is a long post, but I am so close to having my gun as perfect as I want it to be. I love the way it shoots, I love the accuracy I have and the rate, I just want a smoother trigger. I am handy with my dremel and can probably do some of the trigger work I have seen suggested in the past, but I wanted to know if any of it is good or not. You guys seem to love the itelliframe, and I was wondering if this is the way to go. I know the electros have short little trigger pulls, but they are expensive and I haven't heard any feedback on them, good or bad. Thanks for all your help!!

I'd get an intelliframe and retro, that's what I run. The intelliframe is VERY nice, you will be able to get a high rof with it. I would drop the aftermarket parts, and put the stock agd ones back in.

and drop the palmer, triple-regulation restricts flow, replace it with a foregrip, should be no problem selling and/or trading it, as they're awesome regs.
    Christian, and proud of it.

Ditch your ans bolt, sell your palmer stab now you got n2, get an intelliframe, get a lvl 10 and you're set.

The trigger will always be like that without sacrificing durability or reliability.

i say, since all of it is working the way YOU want it to, leave all the internals the way they are. You seem like a perfect candidate for the New Benchmark Medusa frame. The frame is supposively going to let people get their mag and cocker triggers very short, and very light(all mechanical.) Hope that helps.

P.S. The medusa is being manufactured by www.proteamdirect.com

          Medusa...

When is it coming out? I looked on proteam's website and cannot find info on it. I might be stupid though! Thanks for the feedback all. I do like the way the internals work, just the trigger pull is tough. Will the intelliframe reduce that?

The Medusa should be coming out in the next week or so. The I-Frame will make it nearly twice as easy to shoot, since you are using two fingers. The I-Frame is also VERY nice looking, IMO.

If you get level 10 you can ajust your sear via the trigger rod to a much better firing point. There's less pressure on the sear so you can use less sear to hold the bolt back. That results in a lighter an crisper trigger pull. Also, keep the stab if your not having shoot down. No reason to sell it.

                    Stabilizers...

I don't know if you guys know what a stabilizer or regulator does. It definitely doesn't restrcit the air coming into the valve. My nitro tank is oreset at 900 PSI. The AutoMAG reg is great, but why make it work overtime to reduce that pressure. The stabilizer reduces it first at a very consistent rate. Then the AutoMAG reg can work very well at precisely tuning the air pressure to what the mag needs. I suggest a regulator for everyone, especially if you are using a non adjustable tank. I must say the Palmer made my mag shoot almost perfect on CO2, I am just anticipating getting a Retro Valve someday soon, so I bought the nitro tank now. Thanks for the feedback, I will be looking for the Medusa!

                        Stabilizer...

I agree, when the guy at the paintball field was adjusting my reg hw couldn't believe how consistent the Stabilizer was keeping my gun. Every time 281, 281, 282, same. This was also on CO2. It is perfect with nitro.
