    PSI For Retro

I got a screw in adjustable tank today, and have been playing around with it a bit to increase my retro bounce. Unfortunately, it's leaking from the 1200psi gauge so I ran out of air before I was done, but I tried it at about 900psi and it seemed real nice. What have other people tried running their retro at? Just curious, as my current opinion is the bouncier the better, but I'm sure there is a limit

Damn, that's pretty high - I was tempted to crank it, but didn't want to intensify the leak Maybe I'll try it that high when I get the tank fixed..

Man that's insane. I bet it's so easy to sweetspot it's not funny. I normally run mine in between 800-850 just because i don't have lvl 10(comes this thursday!!! )yet and don't wanna outshoot my revy and chop.

Well I have level 10, but I don't even like it to kick in cuz it puts me off my stride...

Black minimag warpfeed body + warp feed comes next I just want to know what a good limit is to crank my retro to - I thought I remembered reading that too high psi = shootdown on retros. Could be wrong though.

1200 isnt reccomended. most hoses that players use(especially macro) shouldnt be pushed past 1000. when i sused an RT i had it set on 950 and thoguht i wa the ish

[blush] yeeeeeeesssss that would be me [/blush]

and the only time i can sweet spot it is when i sit there and really try for it.......

though when i first put in my LvX thats all it would do.... and well being the first time it ever did that i emptied about 1/2 case on my garage..... with no chops to boot.... so it was a double wammy for me...... but now i have to really try for it and if i do get it it only lasts about about 4-6 shots... before my finger sayes to heck with it.... i guess thats what i get for shootin a carbine for 2 years ( a strong trigger finger that can control a very reactive trigger).....

only thing i do now is when i do finally get around to cleanin my mag i make sure to give it a good amount of oil through the airline into the valve....

but if you are going to try it that high... use the steel braided line... much eaiser to deal with and less to worry about.....

850 pre-set, level 10 retro, and macro line. Works good.

I have a preset crossfire and level 10 and it wasn't kicking enough for me, that's why I went adjustable. I just didn't know how high it was safe to take it.

I had alot of problems getting level x to work with preset too, it just started working spontaneosly at the field yesterday tho. Hope it stays that way.
