But if you order something from another coutry you don;t pay the vat. Only people from europe have to pay that vat. Thats how it works.... darn

And look at the field on the invoice that says US$ VAT total...
You might be able to get the VAT money back at customs but then you probably still have to pay an import tax (customs, whatever) if you take it to the US.

And it's definitely not possible to get the Extreme tax free for US forces personnel stationed in Germany (my buddy tried that). And these guys get literally everything tax free. But the Brits will only accept British VAT forms which are pretty damn next to impossible to get if you're not stationed in Great Britain.

And as I stated, AGDE will not ship to the states...

And no, they are not part of the European currency system. They kept their Pound Sterling.

And looking at how good the Pound is currently doing, they are probably better off that way.

From what I understand the VAT can be gotten back by paperwork that has to be filled out in the USA.

Sorry ICOM. Since the Extreme has not officially been legalized in Germany yet there is a remote possibility that it could be confiscated upon entering the country.

Since stuff that is sent within the European Union usually does not go through customs it's very unlikely, but ist still possible.

So no, I won't order it for you. If it weren't for that risk I would do it.
