Bushmaster vs Impulse: help me make an informed descision

I am going to sell my mag setup and get a bushmaster or impulse. I would like to know the advantages the guns have over eachother and disadvantages. Basically, dont tell me the impulse is better because "it rocks".

In this descision, price is an issue. I will be able to spend however much I get for my mag + a little more. Heres what I got. Can you guys give me a price quote on this?
    -chrome centerfeed minimag
    -boomstick and stock RT/Emag barrel
    -Retro Valve
    -Dye gas-thru foregrip
    -Smart Parts sticky grip
    -Blade Intelliframe
-Crossfire 68cu 4500 psi with 800 set output pressure
Selling a chrome centerfeed minimag with a boomstick, stock RT barrel, retro valve, blade intelliframe, sp stickies, dye gasthru, shocktech drop, cp on/off, and crossfire 68 4500 preset to 800.
    Cost = $600 negotiable

    $350...

    emag

it depends. are you getting a b2k2, a bk0, or what?

if i were you i would get a vision impy with the werm upgrades. almost no chops(nothings perfect), good trigger, good weight, and works great on both co2 and hpa. thats what i would suggest.

Man, I think you can easily get more than $350 on that if you are selling the tank too. I'd think $500 easy - it's got intelli, retro and a 68/4500 tank.. plus a boomstick.

Have you seen the nasty impulses? they're $645 stock. I don't know if they're better than a bushmaster but those things look so damn sweet - I'm tempted to buy one just to lick it.

OK, Ive done some more reasearch. Shirow, I was also looking at those nastys (i just cant afford any nice fades....love that blue to orange).

Here is what I am thinking.

I can get a Nasty Impulse for $705
Includes a 20 oz CO2, On/Off, Anti Siphon, Vert Reg

          OR

          I can get a BM2K for $445.
With it I would need a new tank. (mine is set for 800) What tanks go best with bushys? Let me know along with the price so I can look at the final price difference between the two guns.

Then when it comes down to final prices which do you all think is better? Keep in mind neither have vision or ACEs. If there is a large price difference between the two then also keep that in mind. I dont want to spend a lot. I just want the best bang for my buck.

          Thanks

I have seen both tricked a up bushy and a nasty impulse togeather at my feild a week or two back.

Trust me, sell everything you can to buy the Nasty! that is if you had your heart set on these two.

Trust me, I shot off a full hopper at one target to see what it was like & the grouping of balls were so close. The possible rate of fire was filth. and they look better in real life! A real headturner at feilds!

I can say that my B2K was awesome with the sonic asa and gladiator i put on it. i ran a preset tank on it. and any tank will do fine, as long as it has a good reg on it. Its a pretty hard decision between a B2K3 and a Nasty. My suggestion is to shoot both of them, and then decide which one you like better. And dont forget to think about if you are going to end up getting rid of it. Bushies have terrible resale. Nasties have a pretty good resale. Hope that helps.

Hmmm....so an 800 psi output isnt too much for a gun that operates at around 200-300?

Cause if not then the bm2k would be a lot cheaper. Cause I could sell the gun then w/o the tank for 400 and then Id only need to get 45 bucks to finish off the price of the bushy.

However, if the tank doesnt work as good as possible, or if the impy is that much better, than I could sell the gun setup and tank for about 500. Only prob is, then I would have to get another 200 bucks for the nasty.

So we are left with a 200 dollar price difference. Here is the key. With that 200 dollars price gap....could I add 200 bucks worth up upgrades to the bushy to equal out the preformance difference between the guns?

for a start the nasty comes with a custom ano on the freak as well, so already you have a freak system, spend the extra 200 as sk8dood said bushies have bad resale.

                        GO THE NASTY

With $200 you could get some nice upgrades. If you are going to get a new '03 Bushmaster, you could get it Vaporized w/ a bolt, trigger, valve, and fmd w/ micro rock on it for $200.

The anno and the freak does come pretty close to compensating the 200. And the gun is just sexy too. I think Im going Nasty then.

Theres more things to know though. As far as taking the gun apart is the impulse impossible? And for fixing problems will I have a lot of trouble pinpointing them? And then most importantly, can I fix it w/o sending it back?

Also, what kind of tweaking needs to be done to or can be done to impulses?

And what type of upkeep does the gun need to remain in good shape and preform well?

keeping it in tp shape just requires you to take some time to wipe off any filth, and lube it. as far as teaking goes, witht a nasty, you dont need to, they come with all the popular upgrades as far as i know, including a magno trigger i belive, and if so, those things are sweet; mine is like a mouse click.
