    Kneepads

Well, thinking some kneepads would be useful, I just bought some DYE kneepads (I have two pairs of DYE fingerless gloves and they're awesome, so I thought these might be good too.)

What a mistake! First of all they have no velcro at the back to adjust them, they're just long, elasticated tubes, so you have to slide them onto your legs (kinda hard to wear them over pants, which was my original intention)

Secondly, they are TINY! I got large size and I'm 6'2" 170lbs so I'm not exactly fat - these things are so tight I can't bend my legs with them on.

Well, $35 down the drain (plus shipping, ugh) I still need a pair of kneepads. Can someone suggest them that are:

    1) Comfortable
    2) Adjustable with velcro
    3) Have good padding
    4) Don't look hideous
    5) Are just kneepads and not shin length

Oh, and does anyone want a pair of DYE socks with the toes cut off err I mean kneepads?

If you want to sell those to me and recoup some money I'm in the market for some good underpant knee protection.

I do like my Redz knee-/shinpads. But they are shin lenght.
Other than that they are everything you are looking for:

      - Adjustable with velcro
      - comfy
      - good padding
      - don't look too bad

You might wanna check if they also make just kneepads without the shin part.

            Cool, those look perfect.

Load, if pbgear won't take them back as a trade on the redz pads, you can have 'em for $25 (cost me $35 new and they are basically brand new.)

never underestimate hardshell knee pads. I used to wear just regular neoprene knee pads until one day I slide into the stump of a sapling and it tore my knee up(didn't tear or go through the kneepad just the force of the impact). I went to Play It Again Sports and got some roller blading knee pads. Slip on neoprene style with velco straps, a hard shell, and just a ton of soft squishy foam. They're so comfy that I was able to kneel on my stitches the next weekend. But because of how they go on, they need to be under the pants and they're kinda bulky so your pants need to be a bit baggy(like reg paintball pants).

I had to cut the top and bottom of my dye pads cause they were cutting off the circulation to my calves and leaving purple lines after a long day of wear (they were large too).

Jeez.. and you're just a wee lil thing.

Suprised I have so many offers for kneepads, but whatever Load did ask for them first, so I'll give him first pick - if he doesn't want them, then I'll sell them to someone else.

Sinnet, I would, as I really like the way they look, but I'm pretty bummed about these things right now, so I think I'm just going to get some of the Redz pads - I tried putting them on again to see if I could break them in, and I thought they were going to turn my kneecap inside out.

Ok after reading Capo's post I'm a little nervous. Sinnet, if they don't work you want to trade?

didn't mean to make anyone nervous

I was just also commenting on the weird sizing dye has for their knee pads!

Though, I'll definitely be getting some xl ones at wc
