    Equation Barrels Vs. Freaks

Ok,I haven't heard much about it, I read pDirtyBunny's posts , but I was wondering if there were more AO memebers out there with them and what they're thoughts of it are. I'm considering getting some kind of multi-bore barrel set (Freak or Equation) I heard somewhere that AO members can get the Equation for 99 w/ 3 inserts (although they are 109 on the website, but they don't seem to have the "bizerk" in anything longer than a 10" or for the mag). IMO, if the Equation works just as well as the Freak, it's a better deal. Anyway, all comments are appreciated.

well..guess i'll chime in again..yes..it is a nice setup...and they don't call me the test monkey for nothing..great price for the same features as a freak..I may just pick up a cocker back to go with extreme when i get around to getting one..

Thats rather odd... no listing for Automag, or am I just blind? I'm looking on the bizerk and I don't see it. They have it for the regular equation set..but not the bizerk. May wanna coontact them bout that before seriously lookin into it.

Yeah I noticed that about the bizerk, but this is the deal I'm thinking about hitting up.

I just wanted to see if there were other opinions out there about the equation barrel, positive or negative, because so far I'm really only heard one opinion (no offense dirtybunny). I'd really like to hear one or two more before investing another hundred bucks.

are you talkin about the self-adjusting ball-bearing barrel by core designs? That looked kind of neat.

I just got a catalog from 888 Paintball and on the first page they show something called the Empire Barrel Kit. It doesn't use inserts but sepatate backs for each bore. The kit come with 10 pieces, 5 backs (.687 to .695 in .002 increments) and 5 fronts (10" to 18" - 2" increments). It goes for $248.88. Anybody seen/tried this one ?

                        Empire

The empire is one of National Paintball's new brands. It comes in a great kit, but if you want one, wait until next month. They will be dropping the larger bore and adding a smaller one. The extra tips are overkill if you ask me.

P.S. They dont make one for the automag yet. Also you shouldn't pay more then $190 for it.
