    AGD High Rise Powerfeed Conversion?

Hey guys, I just bought an e-mag with an old school high rise body--the ones with the raised powerfeed that allow you to sight down the barrel. I've heard there are feed problems with it. Anyone know if AGD is still taking in the old high rise bodies and exchanging them for normal powerfeed bodies? I remember reading something about that here awhile ago...did a search but nothing came up.

    Thanks

[EDIT] main reason is I don't think I can mount a warp feed on it.

    Seriously??!!

An Emag with an old school RT posted powerfeed!
That's fairly cool. But ya, AGD said they don't feed too well. The unique factor is pretty high though.

I have a black H/L powerfeed emag body I'd consider trading you for it.

    LMK if you are interested.

    Douglas.

The feeding problems it had were fixed by the new parabolic powerfeed plugs.

Most of the problems were attributed to the non-parabolic powerfeed plug. Get one of those and you will be good to go. One of the other reasons that design was discontinued was that it was very hard to manufacture. If nothing else buy a body with the design you like, and sell that off to someone who wants that unique body.

I think I may have been mistaken, just noticed the original owner called it a "european powerfeed" not sure if thats the same as a high rise. It's kinda hard to tell, but in the picture it doesnt seem like it even has a feed plug--and I love my warp...

That's the original Highrise design. It was swept back also. There is a powerfeed plug on the other side of the mag. It's effectivly a HR-hrPF. Hopper Right highrise Powerfeed.

I take it a warp can't be put on this then? If not, I hope AGD is still taking these back and replacing them with regular PF models. Would be much easier than buying a new body, selling this one, or trading it.

That's Oh Pawlack's old emag. I'd trade it or sell it if you wanted to get a new body. Chances are it's gonna work fine though. Doubt TK would have given him it if it didn't work!

My offer to trade still stands.

What type of body are you looking for?
