How long should a power tube O ring last?

As long as it's oiled and in the right place when you tighten everything up you should'nt have to worry about it. When I was a newb, I played 2-3 times a month for two years straight on Co2 with a cheap expansion chamber(sometimes running it vert.) before upgrading to HPA for another 2 years and slightly less playing(2 times a month), during this entire time I never once replaced my powertube o'ring. When I got back into paintball a about a year ago, I've probably put equal if not more use to all the lovely mags that have homes here with me and have never had to replace that o'ring. (I have had to replace it for a lot of ppl though ) Just keep your marker clean and oiled, if you can get a palmer stab.
