    Where to powdercoat...

    Hey all..

I saw RedRider's Post and began seriously thinking about gettin' my mag powdercoated.

Redrider has a good deal on a silver/black Fade, but I think I kinda wanted more than that, like a silver flame fade on black.

I already e-mailed SiN, Army, Did he ever fix that screw up?

Does anyone know where else to get a powedercoat job?

I'm having my RT Pro powdercoated by K&P Customs. I'll post pics when I get it back. He charges more than RedRider but I think you'll find it worth it. His email is [email protected]. Here's a link to a web site with some of his work on it:

            Thanks guys!

Right now I'm looking into getting Hard-Coating done from Dalum @ swancreekpaintball.

I think i'm going to avoid SiN...

              One sided..

I would like to offer you all 10% off a powdercoat job to show you that SiN Custom is not a bad company.

If you'll allow me to explain. During the summer I hired 2 people to work with me to handle the loads of orders we had. Now I was naieve, and trusted these guys, and did not oversee them as much as I should have. Thus about 6 or 7 orders went through them before I discovered they were doing horrible work, including armys order. Now as soon as he came back to me on that, I fired those other employees and offered to redo his order, and the orders of others who got less the acceptable work back.

I nearly went bankrupt doing that, but I would rather have the business go under than dissapoint one of my customers. The problem we have with Army is the mail. When his order was sent back the first time it got hung up in the mail (something rare, happened to about 3 customers). The problem was he blamed this on us, when it was his very own postal service that had delayed it.

Now Army's order has come in to be redone. Shipping is taking a little longer right now because of the tragedies customs is holding things up a little. When the order did get into the shop I informed him, and asked him if it would be okay if I finished the glory m98 we were working on to raise funds for the Red Cross before going to work on his order. He emailed me back saying not a problem and he appreciated my efforts. Now he comes on to the board and slanders me for it, saying that I'm taking too long.

I already emailed you personally about this situation Dave, but I felt a need to email you, and explain the story. SiN Custom has been in business for over 2 years now and has dozens of people who sing the praises of how incredible our customer service is, and how impressive our work is. I'd hate for you to get a different impression because of one person.

Its amazing to me that after all these years of praise one negative feedback comes back, unwarrented, and before I am even given the chance to explain, people are deciding on the type of business I run.

                          Resolved

I would just like all you mag owners who have read this thread to know that dave aka Army and I have fully resolved this in private, and are entirely cool now. Heck why don't you all take a peak at the work I did for him. enjoy

BTW those are chameleon blue ghost flames tipped with iridesecent electric blue on top of a sesame seed bun.. errr I mean a cherry red base. It's hard to capture the beauty in the shimmer of the blue flames in a picture, it has to be seen in person to be really appreciated.

Now isn't it good that we have a forum where everyone can get along? Thanks for posting Sin and clearing things up. Army has been severly beaten for his errors......
