If so, then that is disappointing. Refs are not there for commentary or wit, but to call the game. There is no reason to add flourish to the calls except to irritate players and whittle away at one's perceived impartiality. -

If i'm not mistaken, the person who designed the impulse, Aaron Stephens, the designer of the freak factory impulse for SP. He now works for PMI (aka evil, for all you that didn't know
) and we can hopefully expect as good of things out of the new Omen as the Impulses he designed.
