hey everyone, i haven't seen any matrix's on AO yet. i just bought one at World Cup and i was wondering what everyone else's looks like. and i thought i'd start a picture thread for it. i do not currently have a picture of it yet, but probably this weekend i'll have it. Thanks!

i have one its plain black with an lpr on the front and its really ugly so i wont show you it. over all any matrix you run into is fugly they are just a ugly gun and all the bells and wistles d little to help them IMHO -
i have seen some nice looking matrixes... get some milling and ano and you are set. i'm a fan of the straight black though, nothing too flashy.Comment

Sorry potti, but I have to agree with rudy, they are FUGLY. I'm not saying they aren't a great performing marker, not at all. I like their performance, but the looks leave a lot to be desired. I've seen milled versions but they don't do anything for myself and others who have seen it.

This seems like a good thread for my Q. I'm considering a matrix (not any time soon) but I like keeping my set up nice an tight for playing front. I'm worried about having to get a 68/45 tank and having to lube it every few games. Is that a problem for any of you guys?Comment

you dont have to lube it very often at all..
infact i know plenty of people who go AWHILE without relubing their bolt...
as a front player...
you CAN get a 45/4500 if you have the bolt kit and dont plan on shooting that much paint
but.. id get a 68/4500 and just put a drop on it if i had toComment

what do you mean by oil it after every few games? i've only oiled it once after playin 8 games at world cup. i don't think i even needed to oil it, i just felt like taking it apart and i jus reoiled it for the heck of it. i play front and i was using a 68/45 and it was fine for me. i think playing tight depends on how you hold your gun. i put my shoulder down (the side i'm shooting off of) and rest the tank on top of it, and put my wrist in front of the tank, i think that's pretty tight.
aww...i thought this was strictly for pictures, but when i realized people were just posting things, i have also done the same. i'll just make a new one once i get my pic for my matrix.Comment

I've had my matrix since march/april and play like 3 times a month... I've lubed it maybe 4-5 times over the course of the season and only have had to replace 1 o-ringTeam Mission Impossible(M.I.P.)Comment
