Does anyone have a pro carbine?
    With these upgrades?
http://www.paintball-online.com/prod...ck=yes&dept=57 (there is no picture but did you buy that from that place?)

    and this?

I know this is a long shot but would anyone happen to have those two things? And can you tell me if your pro carbine works with them?

it'd work with both, but i really don't recommend an aftermarket bolt...there really isn't anything wrong with the stock one. the rva is nice, but personally, i prefer the airtipps one from www.countypaintball.com.

I used to have one. It was a great starting gun. From what I hear the venturi bolts do absolutely nothing. The rear adjuster is just for convenience. Those two alone plus shipping would be 40-45 bucks. You might want to look into selling your pro/carbine and using the money you save hooking it up and buy a used mag for 150 - 200

23 bucks + shipping for a velocity adjuster? Really, how often do you adjust your velocity to warrant that? And when you do have to adjust it, it's really not that difficult to just stick an allen wrench where the normal velocity adjuster is.

I have the bolt and it's machined a little big sometimes the bolt will get stuck in the barrel(small bore) and I'll have heck of time getting it out. Plus it lacks a oring which the stock bolt has which may help with blowback. I'd stick with the stock bolt. As for the Rear velocity adjuster I don't use one the stock screw works well for me.

Yeah, actually my brother has one with both of those upgrades. He's also got a 14" PMI Ceramic Barrel in grey, the stock barrel, an ACI 12" Barrel (black) I believe, rubber Hogue grips installed, and an adjustable black gas thru stock. He wants to sell all of it too, and it's in real good shape. (I know, it used to be mine back in the day and he's taken great care of it too.) Anyway, if you want to buy or trade for something, PM me and I can negotiate for him.

If you want to up-grade your Pro-carbin skip the bolt and rear velocity adjuster and look into geting a Regulator for it. You can use the reg to adjust the velocity and will get more shots per tank. A regulator was the best upgrade I ever put on my Pro-light

no my stock bolt was damaged and I needed a new bolt, but this powertube DOESNT HAVE A SPACE for a velocity screw so I had to get the RVA too! I am afraid it wont chrono or something

(well you can put the screw in the body if you want but I dont think it will do anything since the powertube itself doesnt have a hole for it)

the powertube also moves around in my gun

What is wrong with your front bolt? If the problem is the hole where the guide rod go's is damaged just drill a new hole on the other side of the bolt(my pro-light bolt has like 4 holes in it now ) If not just get a relpacment bolt from tippman. Also the powertube should not move around and should have a hole for the velocity screw(the screw allso holds it in place) You can get the bolt and a new powertube for under $15 plus shipping from Tippman. I would still suggest getting a regulator for your gun, you can use the regulator to set your velocity much easyer than the rear adjuster or the velocity screw.

This is a picture of where the screw WOULD go but if you can see you just see the thinner part of the powertube and the screw would just hit the tube!!

Try giving Tippmann a call, their tech support Rivals AGD's...

One of my friends has a pro carbine, and that thing rocks! He runs co2, and has a Palmer Stabilizer on it, along with a trigger mod (lighter spring) he can fire ALMOST as fast as my SFL, with just about the same consistancy! Really makes me look bad for spending +1.2k on it while he has barely 300 into his!
Hey Zero, how much did that Chipley cost ya?

but these are aftermarket parts, I was just wondering if these parts would work out with all the weird things going on with them, because I have a tourny on sunday and I want it to chrono

the reason I had to change out some parts was because my gun was getting 100 fps margin (240 just filled to 340 ten minutes later)

Are you certain his pro carbine performs that well? If that is so then I will just put my money into my pro carbine if thats what it can do and not buy a minimag now and just save up for a E mag

                            Tippman Pro Carbine.

I took my carbine and turned it into a pro. I don't have the venturi bolt but I do have the rear velocity adjustor and I don't recommend it.

There is a pin behind your bolt inside a spring. I have had that bend from a straight pin into a slightly z shaped pin. I blame the rear velocity adjustor. I played with Tippmans for about 8 years before I finally got a mag. First the SL68-II pump then the carbine. Awesome marker, very quiet with a J&J stainless.

Send it to Tippman, don't go drillin' unless your sure what your doing.
