The freak?/but better?

I heard that there was a new barrel like the freak comin out. That the inserts are like this super slippery glass substance. I would just like to know what all this is about and if it is really going to be better. Also if the inserst will be able to interechange with the freak barrel inserts and how much this new barrel is going to cost. IF anybody knows anything about this would they this plz tel me.

The inserts are too short and are honed to the specs of sandpaper.

I recently bought the CP barrel system myself and so far I love it, the backs(not inserts, so they are tougher) are a half an inch longer and are way smoother.

Hmm...I got a freak front and back for $40, no inserts. I'll have to look at the CP barrel, sounds nifty.

I think you are thinking of the powerlyte scepter barrel it is much better then the freak having used them both i would get the scepter the inserts are longer and lock into the barrel and the are self centering and work very well.

I find the cp barrel kit and other cp barrels i find that i always get tip breaks as do all the people i know also get tip breaks so i wont buy another cp barrel and will stick to my freak or soon to be scepter.

It's already out but very hard to find. They do not offer the kit is a Mag twist lock style yet so if you have a Mag you're out of luck for a while. They're supposedly will be making them for the Mag but not sure when.
