cant view level10 pics...

I am having some trouble viewing the level 10 assembly pic in the classic thread, "All level 10 info here"
I'm refering to the pic the precedes Tom's step by step instructions. I think I can figure it out but am not sure what the backing washer in step 2 is. any help you can give would be greatly appreciated.
