Im a front player and I use an 88 stubby. The size hasnt really become a problem for me yet, but I would like to switch to a smaller size to lose some weight.

My original reason for the large tank was because i could never get a decent air fill. I dont have that problem anymore and plan on switching to a 45/45 some day.

But in my opinion, the best advice i can give is to try both and figure out which one YOU like.

Its all depends on how much paint you plan to shoot. I used a 110 during the 99 cup. I use a 68 most of the time though.

That is one of the things that sucks about putting that much into the valve it does hurt your efficency some. When I get my stuff back from getting powdercoated, i'm going to run my E-Mag around 600 or 650. I only use it in E mode so i'm not to worried about the reactivness of the trigger. I'm thinking somewhere upwards of 9-10 pods. We will see though.

i use a 2k2 ir3 w/ a black 68/45 new style max flow and a 12" freak and i have no problems. the frame helps out a lot. So do what ever you feel like , there is no rule saying you cant use and 88, ive seen guys use 88 stubs for front, personally i like the 68 i have had both 45 and 68 and the 45 was nice with ym LCD and LED cause it was shorter so there wasnt as much goosenecking going on with ym wrist when using it but with the ir3 its extremely comfortable with a 68.

i use a 68, 3000 because no where around here fills up to 4500, so it would have been kind of a waste to buy a 4500 tank, and I'm def an agressive front player, most of the time we only play hopper ball, so i can't always lay out as much fire as i would like, but seeing that on more than 1 occasion i've ended up in THEIR back row, yes, that's allllll the way behind enemy lines, i like it tight, so i can move, and my 68 makes it easy to do that, makes her nice and snapy balance wise.
