    Lots of Mags at FBM-NJ

    Most of Team Mag-Net (RickEZ10, Paul, Earl, and myself) went out to Fireball Mountain Sunday. They were horridly understaffed, but that worked out great. We were able to run our own speedball games ALL DAY LONG!!

    We saw a lot more mags then usual out there this weekend. We even hooked up and played with BlazingAce (who new the dark side of hell was Jersey ). We met a lot of other AOers, but didn't get their names.

    Please post if you were there this weekend and who you were. We are always looking to pick up extra players!

    I was the out of shape guy, dressed down, and shooting the R/T Warp Combo. I did have of eliminations though!

    I was in the homemade pants and bright orange an black jersey with my warped micromag playing with team "quality control" bunch of angel totin freshmen in blue jerseys. I guess I missed you guys, saw a couple of mags there.

    It was my first time at that field an not only were they understaffed but they're chrono was dead! I didn't have my level 10 set up (was leaking out the back so i used the stock spring but it was a bad piston o-ring) an was breakin their crappy severe premium all day. Well, accept the last 1 on 1 when i figured out the problem. I'm going saturday, still have about 1100 paintballs left, was going to the 3 man tourny but my team kind of fell apart.

      Yeah the 'Mags were out in force on Sunday. We all had a great time playing on the Airball field. The best was watching 1stDeadeye run all the way from the back right standup to bunker some guy on the opposite center standup. He was haulin' A$$. Of course he sat out the next couple games catching his breath.

      The one day I decide to shoot a gun other than my RetroMini I see tons of 'Mags. Not very fair. I had a wonderful time though and I hope to meet many more AOers before long. As a side note my Impy was on fire all day. My trigger finger was a blur and I was blowing through paint like it was free. Oh....I was shooting people out too. I whipped the 'Mag out at the end of the day when I got a broken ball in my hopper. I needed to adjust the sensitivity so the warp was a little slow but it got the job done. I really need to Intellify my Warps.

      In defense of the field that was an unusually large crowd. I have never seen that many people at a field other than the one time I went to Skirmish. The Chrono did crap out, but they had 3 or 4 Hand Chronos, but the troble was trying to get the 14 year old refs to stay in the Chrono station long enough to get everyone. Other than that they kept the Airball feild pretty well filled the whole day and didn't let the bunkers deflate too far.

      I had an awesome time and I look forward to seeing all you guys at the field again soon. Thanks guys.

          Understaffing=Bad?

          The understaffing was awesome! We played and reffed our own speedball all day long. We must have played 20 games or more. I shot two cases of paint. I loved the speedball field it was perfect except for the deflating bunker.

          As for my bunker run, I only sat out one game to catch my breath. Getting older sucks!
