if youve ever used goggle skins...

how do these things handle if you get splatter or get hit on them? are they easily removable from the lens? any other relevant information would be appreciated as well. thanks in advance

uhm u remove it like a normal lense and clean it like a normal lense, they only come in single lenses, no thermal, but they look cool. only bad thing is that its like looking through a screen window.

i thought these things were affixed to the lenses using adhesive? my point is that it seems if you got any paint on them (since they are like mesh) it would be hard to clean it.

They take a little getting used to because you have to look past the holes and if you get hit in them they are a pain to clean, especially if you get some spray on the field. Seems like you can never get all of the holes clean either. They are very easy to take off. Just hit it with a hair dryer for a little while and it peels off.

Yeah you definatly have to clean them differently

I use a spray bottle and a terry cloth towel to blot it clean when I use them. And they suck in low light

but other than that - they're pretty cool
They're just like vinyl car decals

i used a camo one for woods play (i was in full guilee and my gogles were the only part of me showing so thats why) it got SO annoying i sold the mask and all that day and bought a BE mask instead of peeling it off.

Personally I like them. I have the new Evil Skulleyes on my Diablo Skul. In low light it does make things alittle darker but not so dark that you can't play. Cleaning is a little harder but if you access to running water it's not so bad. Application is quite simple as they are just a big sticker. They aren't for everyone. I'm the only one at my field that uses one and I only have one because I submitted the design. If you know anyone that uses one I would suggest that you try it for a game first. They are different and you might not like it as much as I do.

                googleskinz

I have used goggleskinz for about 4 or 5 years now, an dthey have advantages and disadvantages...

                Advantages:
Look cool, especially if you get your own custom ones done
Cut down on glare from the sun
When wearing the REF version, shields Eyes, so you can look in directions and people cant see where you are looking
breaks up the mask pattern very well in wooded fields

                Disadvantages
In dim light conditions ( mostly indoor fields ) its a little hard to see out of them.
Different to clean, no Spray-N-Wipe routine, its a Squirt-N-Pat routine. Never really had a hard time keeping them clean personally.
Not very usefull in Concept field play, fields are close quarters, and having the "screen" effect over your eyes can distract you long enough for someone to put a move on you.
