    Annodizing/Powdercoat help

Okay so I was digging through my closet earlier tonight and came across a box with my old Spyder SE in there as well as all the parts. My first gun, man it worked great. For whatever reason (I was young and stupid then?) before I ever got any other markers, i was enticed about removing the anodizing from the body of the gun with oven cleaner (easy off). Well needless to say one weekend myself and a friend did this to our spyders, it worked likea charm, except for one thing, on mine, theres gunk on the inside of the body. I was wondering how I can clean this off? I had gone out and bought a barrel cleaner for firearms (brass wire brush type thing to stick in there and spin on a hand-drill), but quickly realized that this might take off the inside layers of the body and ruin the entire thing. Is there an easy way to clean this stuff out of the inside of the body without ruinding the inner diameter and effectively rendering the marker worthless?

I'll see if I can get some pics up tomorrow of it..
