In the market for new gloves...

Last time I played I got shot in the fingers and hands like 20 times and it sucked, I need new gloves because my old $5 JT half fingers just aren't cuttin it cause the only protection is 1/4 layer of foam on the top of the hand... I want something comfortable because I don't realy like gloves but I don't like getting shot in the hands even more. I want them in red to match all my gear, and I want them to look cool and have good protection. Anyone have any suggestions, so far these are my options.Dye Core 2k2
    JT 2k3 Pro Series

IMO, Wicked Mpulse Recoil 2K2 gloves look hella sweet, and they're EXTREMELY comfortable. I fell in love with mine the instant I got 'em.

Mechanix Mpact series. Heavy padding all over the back and fingers. You'll pay the same as paintball gloves, but if it's protection you want, who cares. This is what we use at work, and I use them for Pball too. Besides, way comfy!

I used to wear DYE gloves but had quality issues. Being fed up with the quality of paintball apparrel in general I went to a sporting goods store in search of a quality glove. I settled on some gloves made for football. They have a tacky palm-side that gives me a nice grip. They are also stylish. If I were to buy a new set of paintball gloves it would probably be those new EVIL ones. They look sweet.

Give the new Nexed NX-Pro Series a try...

Give them a look at http://www.nexed.com. They're very well made and have a nice tacky grip surface.

the top one is the Mechanix Mpact series
the bottom one is the new evil gloves.
                            anyone else see a similarity???
anyway, looks as if the evil ones are pretty padded... i would get em just 2 piss people off.
                            and i say...OLE!!!

I like the new Evil gloves as well. However, I own a pair of the 2002 JT Premiers. They're very comfortable, offer good protection and a good grip . I switched to the JT's after owning a pair of the older DYE Core gloves and having my hands turn black after a day of use. If it came down to JT or Dye I'd go with the JT's
