I'm prepping my mag for sale, and i want it to look as good as possible. It has some scratches on the main body, as well as some surface rust (no much tho). I was wondering what i can do to get rid of the scratches and surface rust

i usually take it completely apart so that the mainbody by itself. then run water down all of the parts with paint on it. then stuff tissues in all of the wet parts, leave it there for a while, than take them out.. make sure that there is no water in there b\c it might rust. its as easy as that. -
The finest steel wool you can find. Lightly buff out the scratches. You are talking about the grey steel bodies? If so this should work for you. Be careful not to go to hard or you will end up Polishing it. Good luck.
