jesus christ why are the JT spectra lenses such a pain to remove/install!? this is a little late but i mean ive had these goggles for 4 years and im surprised they still havent released a better lens retaining system. it takes me at LEAST 30 minutes to get these things in there. well sorry i had to rant but i also was curious if anybody had any tips on easier installation. i had to resort to cutting the holes recently cause it was getting so painful.

First time is always the hardest--after my 4th time I got it down to about 4 minutes.
No tips, just need more practice.

it takes me about 2 minutes to get it out,and 2 minutes to get it in..
maybe its just talent?

ive been doing this for 4 years... can you walk me through? i start from the side going clock wise. the first is easy. then the major problem is the nose part. i mean do you have to put it in at an angle? everything else is pretty easy. if it werent for the nose piece it would take me a minute.Comment

Thats what you are doing wrong.........You must start at the nose piece and work yourself around. I fell for the same trap.Comment

Removing the lense isn't your problem, it's installing it right? I start with the nose portion first then work your way around. Takes no time at all. Just my little trick.

I can switch them out in about 2 minutes... from what I timed
I just mod my frame a bit, I cut the slits around the nose a little larger... makes it 100 times easierMy Feedback

Hold the mask under running hot water for a minute.
You'll be surprised how easy it is - just remember to start at the nose like the directions say.
