    hazardous situation

well not really but i had a few questions about degassing and gassing itself. first of all i DID search but i think i need a more personalized response. ok well my first question. ive setup my e-mag and flatline regulator properly. shoots great and all. but how do i degas the gun for maintenance? i turned it to the off position and shot out until there was no pressure to fire the gun yet it still reads 200 psi. i think i can just unhook my macro and most i will get is a hiss but im also unsure so im asking as a precaution. also i just received my flatline and its my first introduction to HPA/nitro tanks. so anyway i got it filled but the guy told me to remember to top it off before and when i leave. exact wording. i shouldve asked but i was too excited. could someone explain this to me. many thanks

edit: oh and he said that my gauge would be inaccurate to about 1000 psi. did i hear correctly?

Top it off? as in fill it up before you leave the field so you have air in it to mess around with the gun at home?

if you dont want to buy anything then just pull out the macro hose after you play, it may eventually wear out the hose tho.

'top it off' means they fill your tank once, and after the air inside it cools down, the pressure drops a few hundred psi, so then you hand it to him again to get it up to the full capacity, topping it off.

cool thanks for that info. but could you explain if the thing he told me about the gauge being inaccurate to 1000 psi is true? also i would still like to know how i could degas my gun for maintenance. even if i bought a proconnect or slide check i still need to degas prior to installation.
