does this sound right

i got approximately 2900 shots from my new e-mag when it said low battery. does that sound normal for out of the box? i couldve sworn the battery was supposed to last for like 40000 shots. or am i thinking something else...

charge up the battery and see what happens..... most likely it sat for a while.... and like all batteries it will lose its charge after time.... so it may have been sitting for a time and may not have had that much of a charge to begin with.....

AGD claims 20,000 shots of the battery. charge it overnight and give it a go then...
