does anyone have suggestions as to how to help the authorities catch these people? i know that APG will get field owners and manufacturers together to put up a reward for information leading to an arrest, any thoer ideas?

goddam, stupid people make me furious! i dont understand what people are thinking sometimes. shooting a police station is more understandable than a 29 year-old horse dying of cancer. jesus christ, people are too primative for me sometimes.

what the heck is going on these days. maybe we are just paying more attention but literally EVERY day i see some negative paintball news. it seems like it started ever since i read that article of the NY paintball ban.

as for contacting the authorities. im sure stacy hoffman (owns the horse) has contacted them and if she hasnt then she probably has shrugged it off. its really too bad what happened but this type of action is pretty much on the level with vandalism and you couldnt do much except maybe file a complaint/report unless the situation escalated. im sure people pull harmful pranks everyday its just that since its paintball related we are paying particular attention to this.

Either people ARE doing more violence with paintball guns, or there're more members here and the news is being reported more just because people are more interested. Either way, this is really out of hand. Then again, people do stupid things with items from other sports quite often as well. I realize it's not GOOD and we need to try to stop it, because it COULD ruin our sport.

That makes me sick, I think any animal cruelty is sick.


Basically, and I heard this on a TV, if you can torture an animal than you can definitely do the same to a fellow human being and you should be under psychiatric evaluation. They show no remorse.

We had, and this included a few people who are relatives, blatantly shoot up a squirrel that had gotten into our indoor field. I found it sick and demeaning.

The really absurd issue was one of the people the following week said the story to me and asked me to put it on the website as a funny story.

I was furious and I told my husband, he wasn't to thrilled with the situation. I told him if that ever happened while I was there I would turn them over to the police for animal cruelty, family member or not that is plain ridiculous. We had little children come to the field to watch their parents play, not to mention mothers, who would agree with what I was saying.


Kev, I hope they catch who did it and I hope they receive severe punishment. These actions could lead to the termination of the sport.

edit: i just realized i would rather see them get thrown in jail then beat up.

especiall at close range and see if it is possible to see if:

The pellets even ruptured the animal's genitals.

- Arghghgh I am an equal oportunity disgruntled zealot, though. If it was a femal that did that kind of thing to that poor animal, the same method of retrobition should be used!

Actually, I really don't think that the perps should be shot in the genitals, but they should serve some jail-time where they would wish that they had been shot-up instead.
