    rt valve

Would buying the rt valve for my mag increase my rate of fire that much? I mean, i have a decent rate of fire right now w/o it but i have the occasionaly short stroke, would upgrading to rt change any of this?

You can still short stroke. It is all preference, but yes, most likely the ReTro valve will increase your ROF. I can pull fast on an A.I.R valve, however, I won't be giving up my ReTro anytime soon.
    Christian, and proud of it.

Set up just right an RT valve can definately increase ROF. I aslo found it did help a bit with short stroking. The trigger kick makes it easier to complete a full trigger pull and not shortstroke.

if you call that an increase in rof then i guess the rt will improve it.

          A) Your results and mileage will vary.
          B) Somehow, that sounds like run-away to me... To fire off THAT many shots. you'd have to work that trigger like mad... Is there any special mod-ing done to the trigger on that?

              www.butters.org i believe.
I think he modded the on-off pin or something like that, also i think i heard his input was around 1000psi.
Its insane for a mech. marker huh?

im not sure about input pressure but im pretty sure he sanded the on off very lightly and also adjusted the trigger rod.

With no sanding or other permanent change, I can get my Retro LX going pretty fast. Finally got around to counting bps on the computer yesterday: 34 balls in 2.31 seconds which comes out to about 14.7 bps. That's at an input of 800 psi from a 68 3000 flatline. Gotta love AGD.
...So, yeah, it should increase your rate of fire.

Definately get a retro valve if you have the chance. They are very nice and the rate of fire is definately worth it. I got mine set at about 850psi output and that thing rocks. Sometimes just to have some fun I'll run it at 950psi but my revy just can't keep up so the lvl 10 was kickn' in quite a bit.
