My first tourny level marker was a mag, i bought her because i hated the attitude of all the cocker jocks in my area (freeflows run rampid around me....grrr) and they all of course said "mags suck...blah blah LP is better shinny parts..." yeah so i bought her and have stuck by AGD since, mostly because they have stuck by me, and thousands of other customers. Now i have a hyper mini, with a lil trigger work on the hyper frame, and the pull is shorter and lighter than most angels i have tried, and i have an Retro Mini that is astounding over the chrony and had at least one ref watching my hand, not my body/pack....after the game he cheaked the marker for a sweet spot, found none and was like "...wow" the basic end all for this debate is NO AMOUNT OF ANO AND HYPE WORKS ON THE FEILD; R and D works everytime.

Tom was the last of a now extinct breed, a breed of players who build a community, a breed of owners who gave to the sport never taking more than what they deserved. I hope to see you at the feild again some day.... -
I see quite a few mags out here in Wyoming. The reason i got one was when i was playing in Wheatland at a "natural terrain" feild and the owner had used to be a pro player back in 94/95 using a Red splash automag. His kids were mag' owners and lovers too. His Daughters senior HS Yearbook picture is her in all her Pball stuff holding a mag. The son names Jeremy i think was running the feild game after game (was a 20v20). That day i played with my freinds tricked cocker, other freinds Shocker and then Jeremy's mag which was awesome. When i went back to laramie the shop had magically just got a mag in stock over the weekend LOL. At a Riverton tourney i saw at least 10 mags. I remember 2 emags, one was mine. One Rt Pro. 2 identical Mini's with retro that anchors of a team were using. Multiple 68's, some with a electric grip. As far as i know none of them had problems that day. Guy with the RT got 2nd in Top gun. In a tourney in AGATE Colorado which i didnt play in but just watched with some freinds we saw several mags. When we talked to the field owner we asked about a warped black emag that was for sale and this is what he told us. "My whole team uses this exact setup, we bought this 6th one as a extra incase one broke down, its been over a year and noone has had one problem with any of their equipment, so we are selling it." Some older looking teenager bought it for about 1200 dollars that day.
I dont think they are near endangered here. Mags rock :)Level 10 Centerfeed polished Emag With J&J 2 peice.
Level 7 Powerfeed left 68 Mag' With J&J ceramic barrel.Comment

Perhaps the new X-Mag will generate new interest in the line, but I just do not know. Usually it is people seeing the gun in use by another player, hearing about a professional team using them, or advertisements (the whole reason for ads).
I have to say that many people ask me about my Automag, but most also say that they do not want one, "Because it is so ugly." Explaining ease of maintenance, reliability, and such to some people is like teaching a pig to fly.
(Actually possible with a sedated porker and a trebuchet. Only problem with this approach: you will never see an experienced pig aviator.)Andrew Borntreger

Last week Smoken, Toymyster, myself and a few others got together for a total of 7 mags at a local field. The refs were triping out that there were that many mags on the field. Once durring the day we were told "All Mags and other advenced players over here, rentals and spyders over there" For not seeing many mags at the field at least they know where they belong.

I recently sold my rt and extras, and bought a Black Magic, now I open it, its all pretty, shiny, and nice, so I air it up, shoot a few times, its okay, but it still looks nicer than my old rt, so i shoot a few more times, and imagine that, it starts to leak out of two places, after about 2 hours, its working, so i degass it so I wont break it again...So ive been thinking, the cocker may look nice, but it sucks, so I want a mag again...
