Do you have a classic or retro valve and what pressure are you running it at?

For a reactive trigger you must have a retro valve. The input pressure on the trigger of the gun (dictated by the air input pressure) has to be significantly larger than the front chamber operating pressure of the gun (dictated by the velocity setting). This pressure differential provides your sweet spot.

      Other factors can affect peformance.

A sloppy trigger assembly can divert some of the trigger energy lowering the pressure differential experienced by the user.

The length of the on/off pin determines how far forward the trigger will go before the valve chamber recharges and is ready to fire at the lower trigger pressure. A shorter pin means it is ready quicker. A longer pin means the trigger has to travel farther. A shorter pin will give you less travel differential and therefore a more reactive feel.

The level 10 bolt affects reactivity. The operating chamber pressure of the gun increases so the pressure differential between chamber and input is reduced.

The retro valve was never intended to provide a "sweet spot" to allow users to make there guns fire without actually pulling the trigger. It was intended to be a faster charging valve and to kick the trigger back so it would be ready to fire faster.

Without an adjustable air tank, you may not get the sweet spot, but I wouldn't worry about it as long as the valve works well. Hope this helps.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.

hmm... no one cares to mention that it is illegal, dangerous... and oh yea, not waht the marker was supposed to do? Dont DO IT! the retrovalve was not designed to do it.... IT can cause parts wear..... it is a bad idea...
