    X-Valve/Fixed Output HPA Tanks?

I have looked through the various posts on the new X-Valve, but I didn't see anyone mention if it would work with a screw-on type, fixed output HPA tank. I was just trying to figure out if I get a new X-Valve, will I have to upgrade my tank to a variable output one? I saw some people talking about having to turn up the output pressure on their tanks to get the new LVL10 to work. The other question, is if it will work with a fixed output tank will it not work as well as it would with a variable output?

I don't see why it wouldn't work, it is just a lighter retro valve with a level 10 bolt installed. so i don't think you would have to, but hey it never hurts if you have the $

P.S. instead of starting a new post, any 1 have any idea on the cost of it yet?
