just curious if the boot up for the e-mag has any significance. i can fire as soon as i pull out the pin as well as cycle thru all the menus. does anything actually happen during the 6 second boot up?

mine just says "AGD 1.37" for about a second and then is ready to go....what version do you have?

same version 1.37. it takes 6 seconds to go away. i think it says 6 seconds on the instruction manual as well. it doesnt really bother me that much but im just curious cause it seems pointless unless someone knows otherwise.

What seems pointless? The boot time? It would seem to me that the system is loading for those 6 seconds, and then after that, it's done loading and is now operational. Sounds perfectly normal to me, though.
