AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
Ugh. Spend your money on something a bit more reliable. I've seem more friggin Bushmasters go down than any other piece of equipment on the paintball field. Besides, they feel like cheap plastic toys.
At least they're getting some decent milling done though... I mean, thats not as bad as the rest of them.
My old team mate had a 4th Gen, and it suffered from a multitude of problems... I mean it was rediculous... I thought it wasn't possible to have a different issue every weekend until I got to mess around with this thing. He sent it out to Goldie to get all the Vapor goodies and a bunch of Mac Dev stuff... and it still sucked. LPR problems, reg problems, the bolt snapped in half, the board fried, the LED blew out... and it chopped like mad...
Having owned just about every marker out there... I can honestly say that I will never EVER buy anything from ICD since I have seen firsthand what kind of stuff they make.
*** In my humble opinion, you'd be much better off spending around the same amount of cash for a nicely tuned Impulse or cocker. For $650 you can nab yourself a Nasty Impulse, that looks SO MUCH BETTER, with an Eclipse Blade frame... screw the eye if you dont shoot that fast... if you cant hit anything around 13 balls a second, then I feel bad for you in the first place! For around the same price you could probably find yourself a Matrix with a Trinity, which would elminate broken balls completely ***

Not sure how well the PDS works, but as with any anti-chop, it's a nice little insureance. Yeah there are new feed tubes for it. Bushmaster threaded. Roughneck PB makes their clamping feed neck for em. A few other places make feed tubes as well.
PDS is very nice for when you're running in burst or full auto (gotta love scenerio games!) It's also nice insurance to have on a daily basis. If something happens (eye gets dirty or it can't 'see' the brand of paint you're using) just turn it off.
I've seen nothing but good performance out of the bushys I've been around, and ICD's customer support is 100x better than Smart Parts.
My feed tube is from Goldie (www.vaporworks.net) and as you can see in the picture, puts the warp elbow directly on top of the gun. Can't get any lower profile unless it was a side/trapdoor feed.
If you want to see an example of a cheap plastic toy, look at a timmy (same grip/reg spacing as a spyder.....hmm) As for whoever said that bushies have a multitude of problems, your teamate must have been doing something wrong. I have had a bushy for three years and the only prob i had was i pulled a wire. The 2003's look dead sexy and the black one is awesome.
